Project Description:

A cultural heritage landmark, constructed in 1927, using Mediterranean and Spanish mission style design. Seismic Upgrade to include strengthening building foundations, rebuild basement floor, above new base isolation system. Rehabilitate all interior spaces and features that remain on upper floors. Upgrade building to meet life safety system requirements. Provide new commercial electrical service bus duct risers, electrical rooms, and panels; site power, light and misc. electrical work. Provide electrical service, outlets, switches, overload protection, interlocks and panel board space, disconnects, circuit breakers, and connections. Replace substandard electrical, mechanical and plumbing installations. Code upgrades including ADA, Life-safety, fire sprinklers, fire alarm, exit and emergency lighting systems.
